Potter Junior High School kicked off the new school year with a vibrant and energy-filled all-school leadership rally, Wednesday August 28th. The event, held on campus, was the first of its kind for the 2024-25 school year, bringing together students, staff, and the community to celebrate academic excellence, leadership, and school spirit.
The rally featured dynamic performances that set the tone for the event, including a powerful opening by the Potter Junior High School Band and a captivating dance by the Potter Baile Folklorico group. Adding to the excitement, students and teachers engaged in a friendly limbo competition that had the entire crowd cheering.
In addition to the lively entertainment, the rally also served as an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the school’s outstanding students. Several students were honored as “Students of the Month” for their academic achievements and exemplary leadership qualities.
Principal Dr. Alex Gonzalez expressed his enthusiasm for the rally, stating, “Our first leadership rally of the year was a fantastic way to bring our community together and set the tone for the year ahead. Celebrating our students’ accomplishments and showcasing their talents reminds us all of the incredible potential we have here at Potter Junior High School. I look forward to seeing the continued growth and success of our students this school year.”
The rally concluded with a renewed sense of unity and motivation among students and staff, setting a positive tone for the remainder of the school year.
