The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) District Office welcomed young children from the Fallbrook Child Development Center (CDC) for a joyful morning of Halloween fun during their annual trick-or-treat visit to the district office. FUESD staff eagerly invited families, students, and teachers to journey through each department, where team members handed out treats and embraced the festive spirit, creating a memorable experience for all.
As they made their way through Human Resources, Accounting, Education Services, and other departments, students were greeted by smiling staff in Halloween costumes and given candy at each stop. This beloved tradition offers a unique opportunity for staff to connect with future students in a fun, engaging environment, reinforcing the district’s commitment to building community relationships and making each child feel welcomed.
“Having the Child Development Center students and families visit the district office is truly a treat for our staff,” said Superintendent Monika Hazel. “For many of our team members who don’t get to interact with students, this event brings a special joy and helps us create those early connections with families who will soon be part of our district.”
For FUESD, supporting the Fallbrook Child Development Center and fostering relationships with families is a priority, and this Halloween event is just one of many ways the district partners with the CDC. By creating these connections early, FUESD aims to build a strong foundation of trust and familiarity for students who will soon transition into the district.
This Halloween tradition showcases the district’s dedication to engaging with the broader community and investing in young learners. FUESD looks forward to continuing this tradition in the coming years and welcomes more opportunities to bring families and staff together for memorable experiences.
