Rotary Club Honors Mary Fay Pendleton Students as Students of the Month

The Rotary Club of Fallbrook proudly recognized two exceptional fifth-grade students from Mary Fay Pendleton School as Rotary Students of the Month for October. Kelsey Jones and Hope Gillam were celebrated during a recent Rotary Club ceremony for their outstanding academic achievements, leadership, and dedication to their school and community.

Both students have earned high praise from their teachers and classmates for their strong academic performance, positive attitudes, and commitment to helping those around them. Whether excelling in their studies, participating in extracurricular activities, or lending a helping hand to a fellow student, Kelsey and Hope consistently embody the principles of leadership, integrity, and service that the Rotary Club seeks to honor in student leaders.

Seth Trench, Director of Communication for Fallbrook Union Elementary School District, applauded both students for their well-rounded contributions to their school and the community at large: “Kelsey and Hope are shining examples of what it means to be not only exceptional students but also compassionate and driven leaders. They excel in their studies while also making a positive impact on those around them, whether by helping a classmate or participating in school activities. This recognition from the Rotary Club is a well-deserved honor, and we couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments.”

The Rotary Student of the Month program continues to be an important initiative in the Fallbrook community, recognizing students from various schools across the district who exhibit excellence in academics, leadership, and service to their peers. During the Rotary Student of the Month ceremony, Kelsey and Hope received certificates of achievement and shared what drives their passion for learning, leadership, and making a difference in their school community.

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is committed to supporting and recognizing students like Kelsey and Hope, who go above and beyond in their academics and serve as role models for others. The District congratulates both students on their achievements and looks forward to their continued success.
